Who we are
Exclusive SEO is run by Shaz Ahmed, trading as a sole trader, at MTS House, Unit 2, Belper Road, Heaton Mersey, Stockport SK4 3QW. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us about your data at hello@exclusiveseo.co.uk or on 0161 527 4786.
What we collect
- Enquiry forms: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in and your message.
- Emails and calls: whatever you choose to tell us when you contact us directly.
- Website analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, how you found us, your device and approximate location. This uses cookies.
How we use it and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and provide a quote or free audit you have asked for (steps taken at your request before a contract).
- To deliver our services if you become a client (performance of a contract).
- To understand and improve how the website performs (our legitimate interests).
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the business, such as our website host, email provider and Google Analytics, and specialist partners who help deliver client work. They only process your information on our instructions. Some providers, including Google, may process data outside the UK, under safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for up to 2 years, then delete them. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and for up to 6 years afterwards for tax and legal purposes. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@exclusiveseo.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
